Virginia Heart is proud to announce that Dr. Tariq Haddad and research team has been honored with the Excellence in Site-Based Research Award from the Heart Failure Collaboratory (HFC), in collaboration with the American Heart Association (AHA).

This prestigious recognition is awarded to principle investigators and study coordinators who have demonstrated exceptional achievement and consistent excellence in site-based cardiovascular research. 

Our nomination acknowledges our team's outstanding work on the BalanceD-HF trial, a groundbreaking effort advancing the understanding and treatment of heart failure.

Only a select group of top site-based researchers nationwide receive this award. We are deeply honored to be recognized for our dedication to advancing cardiovascular science and improving patient outcomes through innovative clinical research.
