Ketan K. Trivedi ,

Ketan K. Trivedi specializes in general and nuclear cardiology as well as echocardiography. He is board certified in cardiovascular disease and nuclear cardiology. In addition to seeing patients at Virginia Heart, Dr. Trivedi also serves as the President and Chief Medical Officer of Virginia Heart. Dr. Trivedi previously served as the chief of the Cardiology Division and chairman of the Department of Internal Medicine at Inova Fair Oaks Hospital.

Dr. Trivedi earned his medical degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill School of Medicine and completed his residency and fellowship at Georgetown University Hospital. He became interested in cardiology during medical school, when his grandfather needed cardiac surgery at the same time Dr. Trivedi was studying the topic. He found it fascinating to see what he was learning in the classroom being applied to a loved one in real life. 

In his free time, Dr. Trivedi enjoys traveling and cooking, and greatly misses the 10 years he spent coaching soccer.
