Casey R. Benton, MD, specializes in general and preventive cardiology. He is board certified in cardiovascular disease, echocardiography, nuclear cardiology, peripheral vascular interpretation and internal medicine. He uses this expertise to treat patients who are suffering from cardiac conditions such as peripheral vascular disease, coronary artery disease, congestive heart failure and valvular heart disease. “Cardiovascular care is a partnership between the patient and the physician,” he said. “My goal is to use my knowledge and experience to assist my patients with making informed decisions.”

Dr. Benton earned his medical degree from the Georgetown University School of Medicine before pursuing his residency at Mount Sinai Hospital in New York City. He then completed a fellowship in cardiovascular disease at Medstar Washington Hospital Center/Georgetown University Hospital.

Dr. Benton is a loyal fan of the Washington Nationals and New York Giants as well as an avid fantasy football and baseball enthusiast. He also plays recreational softball year-round.
