Carey M. Marder, MD specializes in general cardiology as well as echocardiography. He is board certified in cardiovascular disease and internal medicine and is a Fellow of the American College of Cardiology. “Having been a cardiologist for more than 35 years, I have had the opportunity to witness great advances in cardiovascular care,” he said. “At one point in my career all you could do for a heart attack was to watch and wait. Now we have the ability to prevent it, or at least minimize heart damage.”
Dr. Marder earned his medical degree from the Thomas Jefferson School of Medicine and pursued his residency at St. Vincent Hospital in Worcester, MA. He completed his fellowship in cardiology at St. Louis University Hospital.
In his free time, Dr. Marder enjoys golfing and woodworking, as well as spending time with his four children and nine grandchildren.
