Asad E. Chaudhry, MD, specializes in preventative cardiology, vascular medicine and nuclear cardiology. He is skilled in non-invasive peripheral vascular imaging as well echocardiography, diagnostic cardiac catheterization and pacemaker implantation. He is board certified in cardiovascular disease, echocardiography, nuclear cardiology and internal medicine and is completing his board certification in vascular interpretation. “In medicine, it is easy to cover up symptoms with medicines, but I leave no stone unturned to find the root cause of problems,” he said. “Until we find the source of the problem, we do not know what we are treating. There are many advances which allow us to detect and, more importantly, treat heart disease at any stage of life.”

Dr. Chaudhry earned his medical degree from The George Washington University School of Medicine. He completed his residency at Louisiana State University Health Science Center and pursued his fellowship in cardiovascular disease at Drexel University College of Medicine.

In his free time, Dr. Chaudhry enjoys spending time with his wife and two daughters. He also enjoys playing tennis, basketball and football.
