Keva Garg
- Electrophysiology
Keva Garg, MD specializes in cardiac electrophysiology and is board certified in cardiology. She takes care of the full breadth of heart rhythm disorders and has a special interest in complex lead management for patients with a pacemaker or defibrillator.
Dr. Garg became interested in cardiology because of the profound impact heart disease has both locally and globally. As a cardiac electrophysiologist, her goal is to help patients improve their quality of life, reduce symptoms, and live fully.
Her commitment to global health has led her to work in multiple countries including Kenya, India, and Ecuador. Each year she partners with Project Hope for Leon in Nicaragua, performing device implants and ablations for patients who would otherwise lack access to EP care or pacemakers.
Dr. Garg earned her bachelor's degree at Columbia University and went on to complete her medical degree at Georgetown University. She completed residency in internal medicine at Duke University, followed by fellowships in cardiology and cardiac electrophysiology at Johns Hopkins University. While in fellowship, Dr. Garg received her master's degree in public health from Johns Hopkins University.
In her free time, Dr. Garg enjoys traveling and staying active with her husband.
