Eric D. Pauley, MD specializes in Interventional Cardiology and is board certified in interventional cardiology, cardiovascular disease, and echocardiography. In the cardiac catheterization lab, he treats coronary artery disease including acute coronary syndrome, cardiogenic shock, and microvascular disease. Dr. Pauley has training in peripheral arterial endovascular treatments and special interest in renal denervation as a treatment for refractory hypertension.
Dr. Pauley currently serves as the Medical Director of the Cardiac Catheterization Lab and the Medical Director of Cardiac Rehab at Inova Loudoun Hospital.
Dr. Pauley became interested in medicine because the profession requires a balance between rigorous scientific pursuits and artful, individualistic applications. Today, as an Interventional Cardiologist, his goal is to help use state of the art medicine to help his patients with heart disease live longer and enjoy improved quality of life.
Dr. Pauley loves his other full-time job as a husband and a father. He gets outdoors any chance possible to run, hike, do yardwork, and/or play with his kids.
