Bimu Risal Bhandary

Bimu Risal Bhandary, MSN, FNP-C, is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner in Virginia Heart's Fair Oaks Office. 

Bimu earned her Master of Science in Nursing from Walden University. Her passion for cardiology developed during her time as a registered nurse at Sibley Memorial Hospital, where she gained extensive experience caring for patients with cardiovascular disease. This foundation inspired her to pursue a career focused on heart health and patient-centered care. Bimu has been a cardiology nurse practitioner in the DC Metropolitan area for the past five years.

Bimu is dedicated to making a meaningful impact on the lives of her patients and their families through compassionate, evidence-based cardiovascular care.

Outside of work, she enjoys cooking, running, and hiking with her husband and family.
