Pradeep (Pat) Nayak, MD, FACC, FASE specializes in adult congenital heart disease and is ABIM board certified in adult congenital heart disease, cardiovascular disease, and internal medicine. He has achieved imaging board certifications in echocardiography and nuclear cardiology.
Dr. Nayak served as president of the Inova Fair Oaks Hospital medical staff from 2015-2017. He is a founding member of the Adult Congenital Heart Clinic at Inova Fairfax Hospital, where he served on the Institutional Review Board for 17 years.
Dr. Nayak was born in New York City. He became interested in medicine while growing up as the son of two physician parents practicing in Omaha and eventually Virginia Beach. Today, as a cardiologist, his goal is to help his patients participate fully in their care and achieve longer and healthier futures.
Dr. Nayak enjoys reading, hiking and distance running as well as spending time with his family.
