On Saturday, October 1st, in partnership with the Virginia Heart Community Foundation, our team successfully came together to collect and donate over 1,600 pounds of food for Food For Others' P3 Program. This program benefits children facing food insecurity by providing them with meals on the weekends. 

In addition to the packing event, the Virginia Heart team donated over 600 pieces of clothing for O.A.R., an organization that has helped over 150,000 people to succeed after their justice system involvement. 

Local community organizations donated raffle items which allowed the Virginia Heart Community Foundation to raise even more funds that benefited Food For Others. 

The mission of the Virginia Heart Community Foundation is to support organizations and projects that aim to improve the health and well-being of our community. Virginia Heart is honored to have team members that are dedicated to helping the community we serve outside of the life-saving cardiovascular care they provide them.
