A testimonial of how coaching, dedication, and LOTS of celery pay off for one Ideal Protein dieter!

Joining the Ideal Protein program was a no-brainer. I had diabetes, hypertension, high triglycerides, high cholesterol ... oh, and yeah, I’d had a heart attack. I was on at least TWO medications for every stupid one of those things. Today, I’m on almost nothing.

In the beginning of the program, I ate A LOT of celery in between meals to manage my hunger, but my body adjusted and I noticed a significant increase in energy. Today, my A1C is lower than even ‘ideal,’ and my blood sugar is always under 100. Every single number on that lab report is within the ‘recommended’ range that once mocked me from the margins. And I dropped 99 pounds in six-and-a-half months!

For me, I was most excited about dropping all those medications: It happened almost as quickly as the weight (under the direction of my doctor, of course).

This program has all the support you could ever want: from oversight, nutrition and health to commiseration, laughter and comradery. I’ve had two coaches, both have been spectacular, both have become friends. The accountability factor was a big deal to me, especially since I didn’t tell anyone what I was doing. I will be forever grateful to the doctors who created Ideal Protein, the nurses who watch over it and the coaches that help you make miracles. My advice: Stay on program, lose weight, get healthy. It really is simple. Just make the commitment and start your miracle.
