Our focus and passion is to help you live a healthier, more vibrant life from the inside out. We specialize in weight loss, using the Ideal Protein Protocol. Ideal Protein is a medically designed and supervised, partial meal-replacement, ketogenic protocol. The protocol works by restricting your carbohydrate consumption, to encourage your body to use its fat stores for energy. This flip of the fuel source helps you maintain muscle throughout weight loss, so you can burn more fat.

Our Wellness Team

The Virginia Heart Health and Wellness center offers a comprehensive program to help our patients get the weight loss kick start they need and maintain a healthy lifestyle. Our wellness team has helped hundreds of patients in the Northern Virginia area achieve their weight loss goals, become more active, and live a life they never believed possible. In addition to our team of certified health and wellness coaches, we have a registered dietician on staff who is available for one-on-one consultations, providing meal planning and guiding to meet specific medical conditions and individual needs.

Virginia Heart is an independent authorized Ideal Protein Clinic.

What is Ideal Protein? Ideal Protein is a medically designed and professionally supervised weight loss protocol intended to improve overall health and wellness through successful weight loss and weight maintenance. It is a 3-phased protocol that helps you set, achieve and maintain your weight loss goals.

Virginia Heart Registered Dietitian Counseling

Registered dietitians assess patients health and nutritional needs and counsel patients accordingly. The registered dietitians at Virginia Heart will counsel patients on nutrition, healthy eating habits, the importance of physical activity while helping the patient to develop a mean and nutrition plan.

Jasmine comes to Virginia Heart from San Antonio, Texas. As a collegiate Rugby player she obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in clinical exercise for health and wellness promotion from Texas State University. She Completed her internship at MedStar Washington Hospital in Cardiac Rehabilitation, where she helped develop their Bariatric Program. She has a passion for helping her dieters discover a new sense of self worth through Nutrition and Exercise counseling to promote overall wellness and to encourage a positive healthy lifestyle. In her spare time, she enjoys socializing with friends, attending sporting events, and reading mystery novels.
