Cristobal Goa, MD, FACC specializes in Cardiology and is board certified in Cardiovascular Disease, Echocardiography, Nuclear Cardiology, Vascular Ultrasound, and Internal Medicine. He has a special interest in the management of valvular heart disease, congestive heart failure, coronary artery disease, and hypertension.

Dr. Goa relocated to Northern Virginia from New Jersey after being in private practice there for 7 years and developing a thriving general cardiology practice and outstanding reputation for providing exceptional and comprehensive cardiovascular care to his patients. He also had the distinguished honor of serving on the Cardiovascular Executive Council for his prior hospital in New Jersey.

Dr. Goa became interested in Cardiology because of a close family member who underwent open-heart surgery during his first year in college. After receiving his Bachelor of Science from Stanford University and his Doctorate in Medicine from New York University, he went on to complete residency at Columbia / New York Presbyterian and fellowship at Georgetown / Washington Hospital Center. Today, as a Non-Invasive Cardiologist his goal is to help all of his patients to get the best possible treatments and outcomes for their cardiovascular health.

Dr. Goa enjoys hiking and traveling with his wife and children. He is a native Spanish speaker as his family is from South America, and he is fully bilingual in English and Spanish.
