Antonio R. Parente MD, FACC, specializes in consultative cardiology, which has included a 33 year career in invasive and interventional cardiology. He is board certified in cardiovascular disease. He has a special interest in coronary artery disease, congestive heart failure, atrial fibrillation and complex chest pain syndromes.
Dr. Parente has served in multiple leadership roles at area hospitals, and remains the cardiologist for the Washington Redskins. He has appeared as a “Top Doctor” in the Washingtonian and multiple other local publications consistently since 1993.
Dr Parente became interested in cardiology because of the unique and life altering impact that treatment can achieve for patients with cardiovascular disease. The ability to “make a difference” still drives his desire to this day as he interacts with patients to improve outcomes and quality of life.
Dr. Parente and his wife enjoy traveling and experiencing different cultures to better understand our neighbors across the globe.
